Night bird
Alida Bitunjac

15.10.2004 - 05.11.2004

Lokacija: Typhlological Museum

Autor: Alida Bitunjac and Željka Bosnar Salihagić

The name of the exhibition ''Night bird'' is related to the part of the day during which the creator of the tactile drawings Alida Bitunjac works, to the works of blind people who always live in the dark and the atmosphere of the workshops in the Centre for education and rehabilitation in Pula. We exhibited 10 tactile drawings made of jewellery beads and necklaces by Alida Bitunjac. The tactile drawings will be exhibited without the glass cover since the relief drawings are intended for touching. The necklaces were also available for blind people to touch them.

We exhibited photographs of workshop participants in the Centre for education and rehabilitation in Premantura in the entrance area between the temporary exhibition hall and permanent exhibition hall.

The visitors were allowed to go through a computer database of the images of all the tactile drawings which were as a model for making jewellery items during the workshops.
