Figure of a man with a fez hat, sitting in the characteristic oriental way, bringing a Turkish coffee cup up to his lips with his left hand, shows the author’s remembrance of the culture he originates from. The sculpture is roughly modelled, with a restless surface, and the asymmetrical composition and contained movement suggest the tranquillity and contemplation of the almost ritualistic action of drinking coffee.
