The Typhlological Museum is currently hosting a guest photography exhibition titled “World Unseen”. The exhibition is fully adapted for people with vision impairment.
The exhibition “World Unseen” showcases works from renowned photographers who are Canon Ambassadors. The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) and Canon have collaborated to create this exhibition with aim to make the visual medium of photography more accessible to visually impaired individuals. The exhibition features works by globally esteemed photographers and Canon Ambassadors from around the world.
The photographs are printed using Canon relief printing technology, they have verbal descriptions and Braille explanatory captions thus conveying the content of the photographs to blind and visually impaired visitors.
The exhibition is open until the Museum Night on 31 January 2025.
