A Pinch of Art – Exhibition of collaborative works by students from the “Vinko Bek” Centre for Education and the School of Applied Arts and Design Zagreb
The Typhlological Museum presents the exhibition “A Pinch of Art” showcasing works created during collaborative workshops involving students from the “Vinko Bek” Centre for Education and the School of Applied Arts and Design Zagreb. The workshops were organised by the Association for Improvement of Education of the Blind and Visually Impaired (UUOSSO) and led by art teacher Tanja Parlov.
In ten workshops, each dealing with a different theme, students explored sculpture materials and techniques, developed tactile perception, expressed themselves creatively, and learned from one another – through touch, rhythm, form, and space. Each piece reflects a process of unity, trust, and dialogue by means of art.
The exhibition is open from 12 June 2025 to 1 August 2025 at the Typhlological Museum.
This project once again emphasises the importance of inclusion in contemporary society – not merely by using the principle of accessibility but also as a foundation for creating spaces where everyone has the right to express themselves, to have an experience, and to contribute.
