“Art Conversation: The Two of Us, Zoja and Lola” is interactive and educational exhibition that explores the relationship of twins through children’s artwork. Furthermore, the exhibition addresses the role of art as a means of empathy and communication.
The exhibition consists of several small sections, different in terms of form. The sections complement the theme of twins and introduce the target audience to foundational concepts from the fields of genetics and psychology.
The display also features works by twin students from two educational and rehabilitation centres – “Vinko Bek” and “Goljak”. Their artistic contributions offer insight into the twin bond.
The project and exhibition include short texts written by parents of twins who accepted our invitation to collaborate. These personal contributions offer emotional and experiential narratives related to their children, enriching the exhibition with necessary and important vitality. Additionally, visitors can view twin-themed photographs sourced from various museums in Zagreb.
Visitors are invited to take part in a variety of activities while exploring the exhibition – find the Gemini constellation in the planetarium, take a quiz about twins, draw their favourite person, and more.
The exhibition is open until 7 January 2024.
