The ''Crossing the Boundaries'' exhibition gives a historical overview of the sports achievements of the blind. The selected items from the holdings of the Typhlological Museum confirm the relatively long and rich tradition of sports activities of blind people in Zagreb and Croatia. Along with early evidence of the therapeutic effects of physical activity, the exhibition brings items from the area of the traditional sports for the blind: chess, goalball, bowling and athletics. The aim of this exhibition is to make the public aware of the sports results of the blind and other people with disabilities, which have often been achieved with the greatest effort, and to eliminate prejudice of the limited abilities of people with disabilities, especially in sports.
