Art concept: Nina Sivec i Morana Vouk
The center point of the exhibition ''Moving in step with man'' is the guide dog, but also the therapy and rehabilitation dog. It displays the humanitarian role of the dog in the life of a disabled person, in which the dog is not only a means or an aid, but a travel mate and a witness to somebody's life and path to an independent life of equal rights.
The motive for the opening of this exhibition is the 20th anniversary of the Croatian Guide Dog and Mobility Association. The exhibition aims to introduce the lives of people with disabilities to the community, emphasizes the importance of enhanced mobility, whether by using the white cane or a guide dog which give disabled people the chance to be independent and completely socially recognized.
