Vinko Bek (19 November 1862, Podgajci Podravski, Municipality of Donji Miholjac – 15 October 1935, Zagreb). He was first a teacher at the public school in Bukevje and later in Zagreb until 1895 when he became a teacher and head of the Institute for Education of Blind Children. From 1899 until his retirement in 1920 he was the director of the Blind Workers’ Home. (N.Ć.)
